Temporary Public Policies
The Canadian Minister of Citizenship and Immigration establishes public policies to change or create procedures, exemptions, programs and streams in response to certain economic and social situations affecting immigration matters. These policies are set to be in force for a certain period of time and can be extended, revoked or replaced any time at the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC)’s discretion.
