The New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program (NBPNP) is an immigration program which directly seeks to attract qualified immigrants to work in New Brunswick which includes the city of St. John.

 

 

 

 

 

The New Brunswick PNP accepts applications from workers who can make a positive contribution based on certain selection criteria such as employment, language skills and adaptability.


Successful candidates are presented with a work permit, and are eligible to apply for a permanent resident visa through CIC as a Provincial Nominee together with their spouse and dependent children.


Under the New Brunswick Nominee Program (NBPNP), you may qualify under one of two categories:

NEW BRUNSWICK PNP JOB OFFER APPLICANTS


Applicants must:

  • have a guaranteed permanent full-time job offer in their intended occupation
  • score at least 50 points on a self-assessment (age, education, experience, language ability, and adaptability),
  • make a commitment to settle permanently in New Brunswick and sign a declaration stating your intention to live and work in the province.


Employers must:

  • Have been unable to fill the position with a Canadian citizen or permanent resident;
  • Offer a full time, permanent position; and
  • Offer wages and benefits consistent with regional wages and existing collective bargaining agreements.


NEW BRUNSWICK PNP BUSINESS APPLICANTS


To qualify applicants must:

  • Have an approved plan to do business in New Brunswick
  • score at least 50 points on a self-assessment (age, education, business experience, language ability, and adaptability),
  • make a commitment to settle permanently in New Brunswick and sign a declaration stating your intention to live and work in the province.
  • Have previous management experience as a senior executive and/or business owner; and Participate in the business in an active managerial role; and
  • Have sufficient funds to finance the business and to support their family for a period of up to two years;
  • Be able to speak English and/or French, and if not, prepared to take intensive language lessons prior to being nominated.
